Our mental health clinicians draw on decades of experience to provide individuals, families, and schools with a full range of psychological and educational assessments and psychotherapy. All of our clinicians offer telehealth and are licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Many clinicians can provide telehealth via Psypact.

What a Psychologist Does

Our mental health clinicians work with clients in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, insight-oriented psychotherapy and interpersonal therapy. Therapy is customized for each individual and can help you develop skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. In addition to individual sessions, group sessions can help further build and strengthen skills you hope to master. For individuals who may benefit from medications to support their mental health, we assist with referrals to psychiatrists throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area.
